The Account Manager, Long Term Care Group (LTCG) within the Life & Annuity Insurance business will be responsible for working with delivery teams to enhance customer satisfaction, scouting for expansion opportunities within the existing account, increasing revenues and maintaining client relationships. 


The Account Manager is expected to:

  • Develop specific sales plans and where possible, increase the sales volume
  • Manage accounts ranging from $4m to $12m
  • Work to increase revenue by identifying additional products to complement what is currently sold to the existing customer base
  • Maximize results by systematically managing an account plan
  • Support Client Executives (CE) in expanding portfolio and building contacts
  • Drive the creation and execution of strategic account plans along with Client Executive
  • Collaborate with CEs, delivery leaders and EXL leaders to grow the overall portfolio
  • Stay on top of information needed by customers in an effort to serve as a resource
  • Seek customer feedback regularly to verify satisfaction and uncover minor issues which could escalate if left unattended
  • Solicits suggestions for continuous improvement and demonstrates personal attention to the customer even when there is no problem
  • Organizes time to cover ongoing priorities and will make arrangements to cover whenever absence is unavoidable
  • Continuously keep track of client needs, gauge client satisfaction and expand client contacts
  • Scout and scope new opportunities within the account
  • Periodically spend time at delivery locations to maintain close contact with operations and related issues
  • Manage reports and other database requirements
  • Mange database for client documents including SOWs
  • Coordinate & drive process-level C-SAT/NPS


  • Proven experience in managing accounts ranging from $4m to $12m
  • Effectively and proactively managed client’s expectations, built deep client partnerships, and developed excellent communication and presence within the client organization.
  • Experience in mining long term complex multimillion dollar accounts, services or solutions within the existing accounts
  • Ability to communicate confidently at the C-level
  • Broad functional knowledge within the specific sector and able to connect with a variety of executive level stakeholders on their specific pain-points.
  • Strong sales process and operations skills (management, forecasting, budgeting, etc.)
  • Strategically minded and able to create a consultative and solution-minded environment.
  • A forward thinker constantly focused on shaping the organization to meet and anticipate both near and long-term business issues

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, graduate degree a plus.
  • Preferably MBA
  • 8-10 of experience in sales and account management
  • Preferably experience in a similar vertical / domain having managed relationship at CXO level



  • A compensation package will be dependent on experience.
