Overview

 

The Healthcare vertical within EXL Consulting practice is helping Payers, Providers and Life Science companies with various digital transformation initiatives.

 

We are looking for a seasoned Program Manager to be located either in Louisville, KY or Greater New York City area, ideally in a top-tier consulting company or in a . This person will lead service delivery for medium to large teams engaged in digital transformation engagements for global clients in the healthcare vertical

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Advise clients on transformation initiatives, by conducting current state assessments, developing gap assessments, and designing & implementing target state operating models or assessing the business case for major transformation initiatives
  • Lead team members who may be a combination of EXL, client and 3rd party
  • Document and analyze current state, identify standardization and improvement opportunities using Lean/Six Sigma & other process improvement methodologies and focus on all technology enablers, namely people, organization, processes and systems
  • Have finesse and negotiation skills that enable him/her to work with a diverse stake holder base
  • Determine the project approach, staffing, responsibilities, and schedule
  • Measure and monitor progress at clearly defined points in the process to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and that it meets or exceeds expectations
  • Play a proactive role in practice development and IP creation

Successful candidates will have significant knowledge of the healthcare industry with at least 5 recent years in any of the three (payer, provider, Life Sciences) entities and will have been a part of transformation initiatives. Specific background is required in implementing new systems, deploying COTS or cloud based solutions that require migration of clinical and non-clinical data, and rolling out change management programs. Importantly, this person will have well rounded consulting skills and have proposal development and other business development support skills.

Qualifications

  • 10 + years of work experience driving business results
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Healthcare background is required
  • Demonstrated ability to apply process improvement and standardization, analytical and digital approaches to create meaningful and measurable business impact
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to conduct workshops at all levels within the client organization
  • Ability to anticipate & address client concerns & develop excellent client & internal relationships
  • Strong service delivery and quality orientation
  • Strong project management skills, flexibility and ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, complex and fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of advanced Excel, and some cloud based/analytics type projects highly desirable
  • Self-driven individuals who are willing to go the extra mile
  • High level of self-confidence, strong people and client management and leadership skills
