Overview

 

The Healthcare vertical within EXL Consulting practice is helping Payers, Providers and Life Science companies with various digital transformation initiatives.

 

We are looking for an Engagement Manager to be located in Greater New York City area, ideally from a top-tier consulting company or in an internal consulting role within a Healthcare/ Life Sciences company. This person will lead service delivery for medium to large teams engaged in digital transformation engagements for global clients in the healthcare vertical

 

 

Responsibilities

EXL Healthcare Consultants are a key component of project teams, typically managing significant work streams on a day-to-day basis.

  • Leverage business acumen to develop hypotheses, collect data, perform analyses, understand the problem and shape expectations to meet client deliverables
  • Structure the analytical framework and work-flow for each assignment
  • Serve as primary contact with client and EXL senior management to communicate project progress and solicit feedback
  • Effectively guide team of 2-3 Business Analysts and report to an Engagement Manager
  • Manage project tasks and coordinate sub-team efforts
  • Facilitate and gather client feedback

Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of work experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree is a must. MBA/ Masters in relevant areas preferred
  • Healthcare background is required
  • Digital Transformation experience or Strategic Consulting experience required.
  • Experience with Customer Engagement/ Contact Center Optimization would be a plus
  • Expert level skill in excel (macros, VBA. modeling etc) and experience with data analytics preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to apply process improvement, analytical and digital approaches to create meaningful and measurable business impact
  • Ability to envision/ strategize on metrics and dashboards
  • Excellent written (decks) and verbal communication skills, including ability to conduct workshops at all levels within the client organization
  • Strong service delivery and quality orientation
  • Willingness to travel
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Self-driven individuals who are willing to go the extra mile
