Responsibilities

The Account Manager (AM) will be responsible for working with delivery teams to enhance customer satisfaction, scouting for expansion opportunities within the existing account, increasing revenues and maintaining client relationships.

 

The Account Manager is expected to:

  • Revenue growth, cross-sell and profitability for Finance and Accounting clients
  • Leading some of the senior level client relationships and responsible for up-selling within the account, managing profitability, client satisfaction and overall account management
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for a 3 year period that involves all the services and business within the company through a deep understanding of client priorities and objectives 
  • Driving revenue growth and be accountable for strategic metrics such as client penetration, YOY growth of revenue, etc.
  • Partner with the operations team to drive innovation and transformation in respective client processes across the current client base.
  • Develop thought leadership and assist in development of new products and services relevant to the market
  • Represent to major clients and prospects by becoming personally involved with key client accounts and most critical/priority clients/engagements
  • Own and drive cross-sell of finance & accounting service offerings to existing clients who currently are not buying those services. Develop creative deal structuring.
  • Work closely with the team to achieve defined targets and cost improvement, quality and speed of service delivery objectives
  • Demonstrate the stature of a well-seasoned professional and the business maturity of our most senior leaders

Qualifications

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in managing accounts ranging from $4m to $12m
  • Effectively and proactively managed client’s expectations, built deep client partnerships, and developed excellent communication and presence within the client organization.
  • Experience in mining long term complex multimillion dollar accounts, services or solutions within the existing accounts
  • Ability to communicate confidently at the C-level
  • Broad functional knowledge within the Manufacturing and other relevant industry sector and able to connect with a variety of executive level stakeholders on their specific pain-points.
  • Strong sales process and operations skills (management, forecasting, budgeting, etc.)
  • Strategically minded and able to create a consultative and solution-minded environment.
  • A forward thinker constantly focused on shaping the organization to meet and anticipate both near and long-term business issues

EDUCATION & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, graduate degree a plus.
  • Preferably MBA
  • 8-10 of experience in sales and account management
  • Preferably experience in a similar vertical / domain having managed relationship at CXO level

 

COMPENSATION

  • A compensation package will be dependent on experience.
