Overview

RPM Direct, a division of EXLService Holding, Inc., is a leading developer of customized database solutions that drive successful marketing programs across the insurance industry. To meet our growing business demands, we’re looking to add a highly motivated and talented individual to our database production team.

The Production Analyst will help ensure the accurate and timely extraction, transformation, and loading of data, and will work closely with the marketing operations and campaign development teams to complete routine database activities, conduct troubleshooting, and provide ad hoc project support.

Responsibilities

  • Core responsibilities include the completion of daily, weekly, and monthly data production activities, collaborating with operations and campaign design teams to align data requirements with project objectives.
  • Day-to-day activities include: ensuring proper input file naming conventions, troubleshooting and resolution of data loading errors, data mapping of output file record layouts, metadata setup and support, performing data matching and appending, and other related activities.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills

  • Strong working knowledge of SQL, Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Oracle PL/SQL is preferred
  • Knowledge of SQL Analytic Functions is a plus
  • Exposure to Unix Scripts is a plus
  • Takes initiative, and engages is continuous self-directed learning
  • Keen attention to detail is a requirement, along with excellent time management
  • Acute problem solving ability, with good communication skills and style

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Information Technology, or Computer Engineering preferred
  • 2+ years supporting and maintaining database production activities is desirable
