Essentially includes executing Finance Transformation engagements in a client environment and performing following activities on a day-to-day basis

  • Project Support - Support the Engagement Manager in planning engagements and adhering to engagement delivery requirements
  • Project Delivery – Ownership and support of deliverables as mandated by project requirements. Execution of engagement tasks independently or in a team setting and delivering to high quality standards
  • Practice Development – Supporting and contributing to various internal practice initiatives
  • Prior experience in Big 4/ Management Consulting firms working with Insurance clients (preferred)
  • 2-6 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Target Operating Model Design
    • Finance Process Re-design
    • Change Management and Facilitation
  • High level of self-confidence and strong people skills
  • Excellent presentation and written communication skills
  • Travel: Subject to client/project engagements
  • Demonstrated vigor and expertise in delivering large complex transformation programs
  • Polished and assertive communication style, both in speech and writing
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with senior clients, and be chargeable and utilized
  • Ability to drive and execute transformation agenda for the customer
  • Continuously keep track of client needs, gauge client satisfaction and expand client contacts
  • Establish and build strong working relationships with business leaders and team members to ensure the successful delivery of services to your customers
  • Handle client reporting (both qualitative and quantitative)
  • Be the “face of EXL” and solicit ongoing feedback
  • Participate in client visits, industry events, trade shows, conferences and/or other marketing events as necessary



  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, graduate degree a plus.
  • Preferably MBA from Tier 1 Business School
  • Any additional years of Consulting experience in client services, account management and/or relationship management is a plus
  • Effectively and proactively manage client’s expectations, be able to build deep client partnerships, with excellent communication and executive presence to connect at all levels in the organization.
  • Able to perform in long term complex multimillion dollar accounts; services or solutions
  • Strategically minded and able to create a consultative and solution-minded environment.
  • A forward & innovative thinker constantly focused on shaping the organization to meet and anticipate both near and long-term business issues deliverables
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural global environment
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to think strategically, creatively, and analytically
  • Exceptional work ethic, ability to perform under pressure, meet deadlines Ability to build effective working relationships with others inside and outside the organization
