    This position as a full-time Technical Business Analyst, will work from the Overland Park office for the Audit Division.

    Experienced position in which the incumbent provides support for the development, testing and quality assurance of IT based solutions that are consistent with company policies, procedures, and standards.


    • The Technical Business Analyst (QA Generalist) will act as a professional liaison between client/executive project management and the development team.
    • As a member of Technology Solutions development and delivery team, analyst will gather, document and analyze application requirements and assist with functional application design.
    • A primary responsibility of this role involves testing business applications, including custom software, custom reports, and internally developed software and web site applications, for functionality, accuracy and adherence to specifications by performing systems integration, interface and regression testing.
    • In this role the analyst will also work with customers to define and scope their needs, take the steps necessary to resolve issues, and communicate resolutions to the customer in a timely and efficient manner.
    • You will validate and document customer bugs and support technical support team.
    • For small-scale focus projects, you may be asked to project manage the development and delivery of the project and to ensure client expectations are met.
    • We are looking for a smart, analytical, go-getter to join the team.
    • This is a perfect role for someone with a strong technical background and who is interested in software development but also does not want to be a programmer.



    • Must be a critical thinker, have an eye for detail, and natural problem solving (and finding) ability
    • Strong preference for anyone with experience in Premium Audit, Underwriting.
    • Must possess a strong grasp of web-based applications, relational databases and must be able to write and execute SQL queries for testing and troubleshooting
    • Must be capable of learning new technology in a fast paced environment
    • Exceptional communicator, able to quickly read and write technical specifications and documentation, as well as hold telephone conferences with clients and project staff
    • Ability to think-on-your-feet, adapt as situations change and make the best possible decisions with the information at-hand
    • Good time manager, able to juggle numerous tasks simultaneously to meet project deadlines with little supervision in a demanding environment.
    • Good leadership potential and an ability to keep meetings on track, on time, and on target
    • Familiarity with Agile software development life cycles (SCRUM)
    • Must work well in a team-based environment
    • Bachelor's degree required (Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration)
