Do you enjoy travelling, love seeing beautiful homes, and want flexibility to work from home?  Castle High Value Surveys, a division of Overland Solutions (an EXL Company), is a nationwide leading provider of high value residential insurance surveys to the insurance industry. We are looking for a junior field analyst to travel 1-2 weeks per month to conduct insurance surveys on high value homes in various cities, typically along the East Coast. There is no requirement for sales as we have pre-existing relationships and long-term commitments from most large insurance carriers within the U.S.  This is a salaried position with full benefits and opportunity for advancement. Extensive training provided.

This is an entry level position where the focus for the first 3-6 months will be learning the art and science of risk assessment and replacement cost appraisals on high value homes.  This includes meeting with homeowners, identifying and documenting the construction materials/characteristics and unique features of the home, and assessing the likelihood of an insurance claim.  After fully trained, the incumbent will add the additional responsibility of auditing the competency, professionalism and work product of other field consultants, and generally serving as an internal subject matter expert.

Candidate should have solid computer skills as all reports are web-based and completed online.  Previous insurance, inspection, construction or appraising experience preferred, but all interested candidates are encouraged to submit their qualifications.

    Primary Requirements:

    • Complete production trips to various locations as dictated by business need
    • Professionally interact over the phone, via email, and in-person with homeowners and insurance agents
    • Conduct on-site property surveys on high value homes

    • Continually upgrade your Survey skillset through company-provided training and other learning opportunities

If you are looking for flexibility, the ability to work independently, and upward mobility, then this might be the right opportunity for you.
