    EXL’s Finance Transformation practice focuses on 5 key areas, including, Finance Organizational Design, Process Optimization, Finance Systems Advisory, Compliance & Assurance, and Accounting Advisory Services.


    • Work with internal and external stakeholders to improve Auto-cash application percentage; first pass and second pass % along with optimizing Day 1 Cash throughput
    • Analyze top reasons responsible for driving Unapplied Cash; On-Account and Unidentified payments and recommend/implement solutions aimed towards reduction of overall unapplied Cash and addressing challenges at grassroots level
    • Communicate with clients and understand their objective and key priorities; quickly adjust and align/realign yourself to client’s requirements
    • Develop, track and report metrics/performance on various business situations/projects; identify trends/patterns and other anomalies with a view to providing business insights and reporting intelligence to stakeholders
    • Identify process gaps, controls issue and other improvement opportunities in Order to Cash cycle
    • Support business on any temporary projects/assignments on an as-and-when needed basis
    • Evaluate RPA and automation opportunity in Cash Apps area and beyond
    • Document detailed process flows and maps at process/sub-process level with a view to automation opportunity
    • Handle multiple such projects in parallel that require system and process migration, training/transition management, knowledge management & retention, risk evaluation and mitigation, etc.
    • Support onsite team members with their individual targets/projects and be seen as their mentor


    Desired Skill requirement

    • Strong O2C domain knowledge and experience, esp. in Cash Application
    • Excellent in reporting, data analysis and high-stake presentation skills
    • High-focused client and relationship management, with creative problem-solving ability
    • Excellent oral and written communication. Must be tactful, mature and flexible; able to get along well with diverse personalities when working towards high pressure resolution projects
    • Should have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and withstand pressure
    • Self-driven individual with an eye for detail and analytical bent of mind
    • Go-getter and result-oriented with high personal accountability
    • Strong project management and people management skills
    • Experience in RPA will be an added advantage



    • Minimum 10 years of experience in a complex cash application environment, LTL Industry (less-than-truckload) experience will be an added advantage
    • Strong O2C domain knowledge; complete understanding of O2C cycle
    • Graduate in any stream, preferably Commerce/Accounts
    • ERP knowledge/experience in Oracle, OMS, NetSuite would be a plus
