  • Overview

    As a Desktop Support Technician, you will be part of a team of IT professionals who provide in-house technical PC hardware and software support for over 850 business users. You will respond to user trouble tickets and provide tier 2 support. This position will receive old returned equipment and wipe and rebuild new systems.  This position is in our home office location so hands on support may be needed at times. 



    • Responding to service calls and tickets to troubleshoot the nature of reported problems and taking necessary steps to resolve those problems
    • Building and configuring PCs and laptops as well as loading software, Setup applications like outlook, Wi-Fi, VPN.
    • Troubleshooting Printers for network, Print queue and setup issues
    • Updating Asset information upon return of old equipment or shipping out of fixed or new equipment.
    • Handle escalation on priority, Coordinate with Help Desk for resolution, provide tier 2 support to the Help Desk
    • Tracking work tickets on ITIL based ticketing system (ITSM)
    • Maintain SLA with regular updates to the ticket


    • 2+years Desktop Support Experience
    • 2+years Refresh Experience 
    • 2+ years of Windows 7 Experience or Windows 8/10 a plus
    • 1+ years of Staging & Imaging Tools Experience 
    • 2+ years of Ticket Documentation in Corp Environment 
    • Familiar with wireless mobile devices (hot spot, email setup)
